Lead Mortgage Servicing Quality Control Analyst

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Mortgage Servicing Quality Control Analyst to manage and enhance servicing operations for a leading financial services client. This role requires a dedicated professional with strong expertise in mortgage servicing domain and quality control processes. You will be responsible for executing the Servicing Quality Control Plan and ensuring compliance with all mortgage servicing guidelines and investor requirements. Key Responsibilities - Lead and execute servicing quality control audits to ensure company compliance with quality control requirements - Conduct quality control reviews according to prescribed audit schedules designed to meet compliance monitoring and investor policies - Demonstrate proficiency in understanding mortgage servicing guidelines, regulations, and complex mortgage processes - Prepare audit methods, testing scripts, and questionnaires for assigned processes - Coordinate regularly with external client stakeholders and provide detailed audit reports - Complete audit assignments ahead of deadlines while maintaining significant attention to detail - Monitor loan servicing systems and QC software to identify process improvements - Ensure all work products are highly defendable and meet quality standards Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in any discipline - Minimum 6 to 8 years of overall experience in mortgage servicing domain - Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in quality control or internal audit processes - Microsoft Office Specialist certification in Excel - Strong knowledge of mortgage agency and investor requirements - Experience with mortgage servicing loan systems and QC software such as ACES, TenA, Second Look, or Black Knight - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Why Join Us Cognizant offers opportunities to work with leading financial services clients on complex mortgage servicing operations.
