Job Description
Business Analyst – CashFlow Central (CFC) – Technical & Agile
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst for CashFlow Central (CFC) with strong technical acumen and Agile delivery experience. This role bridges business needs and technology execution by working closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to deliver scalable digital payment solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial workflows, payment processing, and fraud/risk systems, along with the ability to analyze legacy systems, define APIs/integrations, and support Agile delivery cycles.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Functional Analysis
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Understand end-to-end payment flows including fraud holds and transaction lifecycle
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
- Create process flows and system interaction diagrams
Technical & Solutioning
- Define API contracts, integrations, and microservices-based solutions
- Analyze legacy systems and recommend modernization opportunities
- Support data analysis using SQL and reporting tools
- Understand system dependencies and impact of changes
Agile Delivery
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and standups
- Manage backlog aligned to business priorities
- Ensure clear acceptance criteria and delivery quality
Implementation & Support
- Support production issues and client escalations
- Perform root cause analysis and drive fixes
- Assist in feature rollout and UAT
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with Product, Engineering, and client teams
- Communicate risks and progress clearly
Technical Skills
- Digital payments and transaction processing systems
- APIs, microservices, and integrations
- SQL and data analysis
- Mainframe and modern platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years in financial services or fintech
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Experience in automation and modernization
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
