Junior IT Support Engineer / Junior System Administrator

Role Overview Canvendor is urgently hiring a Junior IT Support Engineer / Junior System Administrator for its Chennai office. This is a full-time, work-from-office role suited for IT professionals with 2 or more years of hands-on experience in end-user support and system administration. You will be responsible for delivering reliable L1 and L2 technical support across a range of hardware and software environments. Key Responsibilities - Provide L1 and L2 technical support to end users for laptops, printers, and peripheral devices - Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows and Linux operating systems - Diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to laptops, servers, printers, and storage devices - Manage user accounts, password resets, and access permissions using Active Directory and Microsoft 365 - Perform basic network troubleshooting covering IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, and general connectivity problems Required Qualifications - Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Windows Server troubleshooting - Foundational knowledge of Linux system administration - Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and VPN - Experience with hardware troubleshooting for laptops, printers, and servers - Familiarity with Active Directory user administration and Microsoft 365 basics - Working knowledge of remote support tools and IT ticketing systems - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Why Join Us Canvendor offers a dynamic IT environment where you can sharpen your technical skills and grow within a supportive team.
