Java Developer

Role Overview P99soft is seeking a talented and experienced Java Developer to join our software engineering team in Pune. In this full-time role, you will design and develop secure, scalable, microservices-based backend systems using the latest Java technologies. Collaborate with our expert team to deliver state-of-the-art visual interfaces, dynamic workflows, and seamless digital transformations for our clients. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot. - Build RESTful APIs and microservices in alignment with security and performance standards. - Implement identity and access management using Keycloak, OAuth 2.0, and Okta. - Design database schemas, write efficient SQL queries, and implement Redis caching. - Develop asynchronous, event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka and AWS SQS. - Monitor application health and troubleshoot issues using observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana. - Collaborate with DevOps to manage containerized deployments in Kubernetes and OpenShift environments. - Participate in peer code reviews, performance tuning, and technical documentation. Required Qualifications - 6+ years of professional software development experience in Java. - Hands-on expertise with Java 17 or Java 21 and Spring Boot microservices. - Solid experience in SQL databases, Keycloak, Okta, and OAuth 2.0. - Proficiency with Redis caching and messaging platforms (Kafka, SQS). - Basic understanding of container tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
