Intune Manager – Enterprise Mobility & Endpoint Management

Role Overview HCA Healthcare is looking for a seasoned Intune Manager to spearhead enterprise mobility operations across a large-scale, complex IT environment. This leadership role sits at the intersection of endpoint security, modern device management, and strategic transformation. You will own the end-to-end Microsoft Intune ecosystem — driving MDM and MAM programmes, leading migrations from legacy platforms, and enabling a Zero Trust security posture across 100,000+ endpoints. Key Responsibilities Own and evolve the enterprise mobility strategy and multi-year roadmap centred on Microsoft Intune, MDM, MAM, and modern endpoint management principles. Lead complex, large-scale Intune migration and implementation programmes, transitioning from legacy platforms such as Workspace ONE, MobileIron, AirWatch, and MaaS360. Architect and enforce secure device management policies spanning iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS endpoints. Drive Mobile Application Management initiatives including app protection policies, app configuration frameworks, and BYOD security strategies. Deploy and govern Conditional Access and Zero Trust access models leveraging Microsoft Entra ID and identity-driven controls. Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking, and application teams to deliver compliant, secure, and scalable mobility solutions. Design and maintain integrations between Intune and enterprise platforms including Entra ID, Active Directory, SCCM/MECM, ServiceNow, certificate authorities, and security tooling. Build robust automation capabilities using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and Azure Automation to optimise device lifecycle workflows. Oversee enterprise device provisioning programmes covering Apple Business Manager, Android Enterprise, Windows Autopilot, and shared/corporate device models. Establish and maintain governance frameworks, compliance baselines, SOPs, and operational best practices for endpoint management. Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of mobility engineers and administrators, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement. Manage strategic vendor relationships including Microsoft and third-party partners for escalations, roadmap input, and support alignment. Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning for mobility platforms. Provide executive-level leadership during critical incidents, major deployments, and high-priority escalations. Champion Agile delivery methodologies and drive change management across mobility transformation programmes. Required Qualifications See requirements section below. 12 or more years of experience in Enterprise Mobility Management, Microsoft Intune, or endpoint management disciplines 7 or more years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and administering Microsoft Intune and MDM/MAM solutions 5 or more years of demonstrated experience leading and managing technical teams including mentoring, resource planning, and delivery oversight Proven experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments with 50,000 or more managed mobile devices Strong background in MDM migration and Intune implementation programmes Deep expertise in Conditional Access, compliance policies, security baselines, and Zero Trust security frameworks Hands-on proficiency with PowerShell scripting, Microsoft Graph API, and automation frameworks for device lifecycle management Experience with Apple Business Manager, Android Enterprise, Windows Autopilot, and macOS management Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Active Directory, SCCM/MECM, and hybrid identity architectures Experience integrating Intune with enterprise security and ITSM platforms such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, ServiceNow, and PKI/certificate infrastructures Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability in complex, distributed enterprise environments Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders, technical teams, and vendor relationships at an executive level Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (preferred) Microsoft certifications such as Endpoint Administrator Associate or Enterprise Administrator Expert (preferred) Experience in healthcare, financial services, or other highly regulated industries (preferred) Familiarity with Agile methodologies and enterprise transformation programme delivery (preferred) Exposure to security frameworks and Active Directory in globally distributed environments (preferred)
