Intermediate Service Desk Specialist

Role Overview CDM Smith is seeking an Intermediate Service Desk Specialist to join our global IT team in Bengaluru. In this position, you will troubleshoot tier-1 and tier-2 IT incidents, respond to service requests, and support modifications to our global IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities - Troubleshoot first and second-tier IT incidents involving access rights, hardware failures, and software applications - Respond promptly to IT requests for information via phone, email, and collaborative tools - Prioritize and record service requests in accordance with impact and urgency guidelines - Collaborate with other IT groups to resolve complex issues and escalate requests when necessary - Maintain knowledge management documentation by adding updated and removing obsolete articles - Support global IT infrastructure upgrades and software environment modifications as required Required Qualifications - High School diploma or equivalent qualification with at least 2 years of related experience - Practical knowledge of IT hardware, Microsoft Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office - Good interpersonal, customer relations, organizational, and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in written and verbal English communication - Demonstrated experience supporting wireless and wired networks and their interoperation with computer systems Why Join Us At CDM Smith, we offer a challenging and inclusive work environment with opportunities for professional development, discretionary bonuses, and comprehensive family care.
