Guidewire Policy Center Business Analyst

Role Overview BlitzenX is looking for an experienced Guidewire Policy Center Business Analyst to join its growing insurance technology team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex insurance requirements into clear functional specifications. You will play a hands-on role in the implementation, configuration, and continuous enhancement of the Guidewire PolicyCenter platform to deliver high-quality insurance solutions. Key Responsibilities - Collaborate with business stakeholders through workshops and interviews to gather, document, and validate functional requirements - Work on configuration and customization of PolicyCenter modules including product model, policy lifecycle, underwriting rules, and rating and quoting - Support integration touchpoints with BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and external systems - Create user stories, functional requirement documents, and acceptance criteria while maintaining the product backlog in JIRA or Azure DevOps - Act as a liaison between business users, developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment on solution design - Assist QA teams with test scenario definition, test case validation, and UAT support - Participate in release planning and provide production support including defect triage and resolution Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field - 3 to 10 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst with hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter project exposure - Strong knowledge of the insurance domain, particularly Property and Casualty - Proficiency in requirement elicitation, as-is and to-be process analysis, and stakeholder communication - Familiarity with APIs, integration concepts, and data mapping - Working knowledge of JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and basic SQL - Guidewire certification such as PolicyCenter BA or ACE is a strong advantage - Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments preferred Why Join Us BlitzenX offers a dynamic environment where insurance technology professionals can work on impactful Guidewire implementations alongside skilled cross-functional teams.
