Role Overview Viatris, a global pharmaceutical leader, is inviting applications from engineering graduates of the 2026 batch for the Graduate Engineer Trainee programme. Selected candidates will work within the Agile framework to support and advance Viatris's IT infrastructure and application development ecosystem. Key Responsibilities As a Graduate Engineer Trainee, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom Sitecore, Android, and iOS-based web and mobile applications. You will participate in designing and coding solutions aligned with business needs, craft intuitive user interfaces, and contribute to testing, validation, and documentation efforts. Additional responsibilities include building reusable code libraries, ensuring technical feasibility of UI designs, optimising applications for performance and scalability, validating user inputs, and implementing performance and quality improvement modules. You will also troubleshoot bottlenecks and defects, uphold code quality standards, apply knowledge of on-premise and cloud infrastructure, coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, and ensure compliance with company security policies and federal regulatory requirements. Managing multiple concurrent tasks and communicating effectively — both verbally and in writing — will be integral to this role. Required Qualifications Candidates must hold or be pursuing a B.E. or B.Tech degree with a 2026 year of graduation, a minimum of 60% aggregate in the degree programme (59.9% will not be considered), and a minimum of 60% in both 10th and 12th standard examinations. No active backlogs or academic year gaps are permitted throughout the candidate's academic history. Foundational knowledge in scripting and programming languages including PowerShell, Python, Bootstrap, .NET, Node.js, and Angular is expected. Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, networking concepts, and security fundamentals is required. Candidates should also have a basic understanding of IT infrastructure, web services, cloud-based applications, and Agile principles. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
