We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Export Business Development Manager – Cables to drive international business growth, develop new global markets, manage customer relationships, and handle export techno-commercial activities. The role requires close coordination with Design, Production, Quality, Planning, Finance, and Export teams to ensure timely execution of export orders, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop new export business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing international customer accounts.
- Build long-term relationships with overseas customers, distributors, EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, utilities, and end users.
- Generate enquiries through international customer visits, project tracking, exhibitions, trade fairs, market research, and business intelligence.
- Prepare techno-commercial quotations, export pricing, and commercial proposals in coordination with Design and Finance teams.
- Participate in technical discussions, commercial negotiations, and international contract finalization.
- Coordinate with Design, R&D, and Production teams for product customization, value engineering, and localization as per customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Planning, Purchase, Quality, Stores, and Export Logistics teams for timely execution of export orders.
- Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and project review discussions.
- Handle vendor registrations, customer approvals, product certifications, export documentation, and qualification requirements.
- Follow up with customers for order execution, shipment schedules, payment realization, and commercial matters.
- Maintain CRM, customer database, enquiry records, quotation history, export order book, MIS reports, and sales forecasts.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve export sales targets, customer satisfaction, and business profitability.
Skills Required
- Strong technical knowledge of Industrial & Special Cables.
- Experience in international business development, export sales, and techno-commercial negotiations.
- Knowledge of export pricing, international contracts, Incoterms, export documentation, and global trade practices.
- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of international customer approvals, product certifications, and technical compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, SAP, and CRM applications.
- Willingness to travel internationally for customer visits, exhibitions, and business development activities.
