Finance Collector

Role Overview UPS is seeking a motivated Finance Collector to join our finance operations team in Pune. In this role, you will identify and resolve routine payment collection issues while building strong customer relations. Key Responsibilities - Monitor and manage an assigned queue of customer accounts to ensure timely payment collections. - Resolve basic and routine collection issues and address customer objections concerning payments. - Negotiate payment arrangements with clients using standard company payment options. - Maintain accurate and thorough customer information updates in internal and proprietary UPS systems. - Submit recommendations for writing off bad debt balances when escalation policies are met. - Coordinate with other departments to resolve billing issues and ensure an outstanding customer experience. - Prepare and publish regular collection performance reports for senior management reviews. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. - Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable, billing systems, and payment collections. - Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for handling customer calls. - Proficiency in using MS Office applications, spreadsheets, and databases. - Flexibility to work in a highly measured, fast-paced production environment on shifting schedules.
