Enterprise Architect

Role Overview Nasdaq is seeking a passionate Enterprise Architect with a focus on Software Engineering and Solutions Design to join our technology center in Bengaluru. In this principal role, you will lead the definition and governance of application architectures across global Nasdaq systems. You will collaborate with local and international development teams to deploy scalable, resilient solutions in both cloud and on-premises environments. Key Responsibilities - Define and govern end-to-end application architecture across global Nasdaq systems to ensure scalability and resilience - Oversee software development using Java, C++, and Python, ensuring high quality and adherence to engineering best practices - Identify application and infrastructure bottlenecks, leading performance optimization and latency reduction projects - Plan and execute production deployments across public, private cloud, and on-premises environments - Collaborate with global engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to align on technical directions - Partner with Client engineers to architect practical and optimized trading solutions Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent field - 12-15 years of experience delivering software engineering solutions into production environments - Extensive expertise in software design and development, particularly for networked, cloud-native applications - Proficiency in programming languages like Java, C++, and Python, alongside scripting languages - Experience with IP Networking protocols (TCP/UDP) and distributed application design - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with a collaborative work style Why Join Us Nasdaq is a leading global technology provider that powers over 100 marketplaces worldwide. - 12 to 15 years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, and production delivery - High proficiency in Java, C++, Python, and cloud computing architectures - Strong understanding of TCP/UDP networking, distributed systems, and trading application designs - Demonstrated capability in performance tuning, optimization, and cloud deployments - Exceptional collaboration and communication skills for working with international cross-functional teams
