AECOM is seeking a highly experienced
to lead electrical engineering delivery across large-scale energy and infrastructure programs in India.
This role is a senior technical leadership position within PMC engagements, responsible for overseeing the design, review, and execution of electrical systems across renewable energy (solar, wind, hybrid), conventional generation, hydro/PSP, BESS, substations, and transmission networks up to 765 kV.
The role operates at the interface of engineering, project management, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring that all electrical systems are designed, implemented, and commissioned in accordance with project objectives, grid requirements, and applicable standards. The position also supports techno-commercial optimization, digital integration, and grid readiness for modern energy systems.
Review and approve key basic and detailed engineering deliverables including:
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project scope and standards.
Direct and review detailed power system studies, including:
Ensure alignment with state and central grid codes and utility interconnection requirements.
Perform technical due diligence, feasibility studies, and techno-economic assessments for:
Support bid-stage engineering, risk assessment, and project optimization.
Lead engineering for power evacuation systems, including:
Support integration of renewable, hydro/PSP, and storage systems into EHV networks.
Act as Owner’s Engineer / PMC technical lead, interfacing with:
Ensure alignment across design, procurement, and construction phases.
Resolve technical issues, manage design changes, and mitigate project risks.
