EDI Senior Technical Lead

Role Overview HCLTech is seeking a detail-oriented EDI Senior Technical Lead to join our team in Sholinganallur, Chennai. You will design, develop, and support critical EDI integrations that enable compliant HIPAA transactions for our healthcare clients. Come help us build seamless system-to-system integrations while maintaining data standards and trading partner satisfaction. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain EDI integrations using tools like IBM Sterling or Vitria. - Map and transform data between HIPAA EDI formats and flat files, XML, or JSON. - Implement healthcare transactions including Benefit Enrollment (834) and Claims (835, 837). - Ensure transactions comply with HIPAA regulations, X12 standards, and partner specs. - Configure and troubleshoot communication protocols like SFTP, AS2, and FTPS. - Onboard new trading partners and collaborate with QA on testing cycles. - Monitor EDI jobs, manage error handling, and maintain runbook documentation. - Participate in on-call rotations to resolve production incidents and issues. Required Qualifications - Strong proficiency in electronic data interchange (EDI) protocols and standards. - Deep expertise in XML formats, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, or similar tools. - Experience mapping data structures between different formats and database systems. - Solid understanding of healthcare claims data structures and compliance. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a technical leadership mindset.
