Domain Architect L2

Role Overview Wipro is looking for an experienced Domain Architect L2 to lead the development of target architecture and define technology roadmaps for specific business domains. This is a senior individual contributor role that requires deep expertise in enterprise architecture, CAD tools, and digital transformation. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted subject matter expert who bridges the gap between business strategy and technical execution across complex enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned to business strategy for a specific domain or practice area - Design scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise architecture solutions that meet operational requirements such as availability, maintainability, and extensibility - Lead proof-of-concept and prototype efforts when evaluating or introducing new technologies - Define domain-specific standards, near-term and mid-term strategies, and ensure alignment with enterprise-wide architecture standards - Provide technical consulting and mentorship to solution architects, junior staff, and delivery teams - Partner with IT, business stakeholders, and enterprise architects to communicate requirements and co-develop long-range system plans - Respond to and develop solutions for client RFPs while ensuring overall design assurance - Identify technical and process risks and prepare risk mitigation plans across all active projects - Track industry trends and translate them into actionable insights for current and future IT planning - Enable delivery teams through optimal frameworks, architectural oversight, and quality assurance of design decisions - Collaborate with sales and delivery leadership to uncover future needs and articulate investment roadmaps Required Qualifications - More than 10 years of experience in enterprise or domain architecture roles - Mandatory proficiency in CAD Tools and enterprise architecture frameworks - Strong background in digital transformation, cloud-based infrastructure, and scalable solution design - Hands-on experience with Agile and DevOps principles to reduce manual processes and improve delivery cycles - Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions with client stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor - Experience creating and presenting architectural deliverables including models, patterns, and reusable services - Proficiency in areas such as automation, virtualization, quality assurance, risk mitigation, and SLA management - UG or PG degree in any discipline; postgraduate qualification preferred Why Join Us Wipro is an end-to-end digital transformation partner committed to reinventing how businesses operate and grow.
