Role Overview Tata Communications is seeking a strategic and experienced DGM (Product Lead - SMS) to drive the success of our CPaaS enterprise messaging solutions in Bengaluru. In this leadership role, you will define and execute the SMS product vision, roadmap, and pricing strategies to maximize revenue and traffic. You will play a pivotal role in redefining connectivity through innovation and cutting-edge telecom messaging technology. Key Responsibilities - Define and execute the SMS product vision, roadmap, and growth strategy - Own the transactional, promotional, OTP, and international A2P messaging portfolios - Optimize carrier connectivity to improve deliverability, route quality, and cost efficiency - Drive development of SMS APIs, routing engines, and delivery intelligence features - Own commercial KPIs including revenue growth, gross margin, and customer adoption - Ensure compliance with global and regional messaging regulations, DLT frameworks, and carrier policies - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams Required Qualifications - Over 10 years of experience in product management with a strong focus on SMS, CPaaS, or telecom APIs - Deep knowledge of A2P messaging, OTP platforms, SMPP protocols, and DLT frameworks - Solid understanding of APIs, developer platforms, and cloud-native distributed messaging systems - Excellent strategic planning, pricing, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen - Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field Why Join Us At Tata Communications, you will lead high-impact initiatives in a globally recognized telecom pioneer.
