Developer Relations Advocate

Role Overview UiPath is looking for a Developer Relations Advocate based in Bengaluru to establish and grow the company's technical credibility within India's vast and rapidly expanding professional developer ecosystem. This is an externally-facing role that combines community building, technical content creation, and platform advocacy at scale. You will serve as the bridge between UiPath's enterprise automation platform and India's technically demanding developer communities, earning mindshare through authenticity, hands-on expertise, and a help-first philosophy. Key Responsibilities - Deliver six or more earned conference talks and workshops each year at high-signal developer events and meetups across India's major tech hubs - Build and nurture genuine relationships within Python, JavaScript, AI, and integration-focused developer communities through platforms like GitHub, Discord, LinkedIn, Reddit, and local meetup circuits - Publish two or more code-first developer assets every month including runnable repositories, quick-start guides, templates, and technical walkthroughs - Collaborate with technical writers and video production teams to transform content into polished, high-quality developer resources - Partner with UiPath's Product and Community teams to improve developer documentation, platform education materials, and the annual DevCon event - Run rapid content experiments to identify the formats and channels that best activate developers at scale and share learnings with the global DevRel team - Demonstrate practical patterns for building, orchestrating, and governing AI-powered automations and agents with production-oriented examples - Champion the India developer perspective internally by surfacing ecosystem trends, competitive signals, and developer friction points - Travel approximately 25 to 35 percent within India and participate occasionally in global DevRel team events Required Qualifications - Four to six or more years of experience spanning Developer Relations, software development, developer advocacy, or technical community leadership - Prior experience representing a developer platform, API, SDK, cloud, AI, or infrastructure product in an external-facing capacity - Strong hands-on proficiency in Python or JavaScript with demonstrated experience building or contributing to production-grade software systems or distributed architectures - Proven public technical presence within India's developer ecosystem through conference talks, workshops, blog posts, GitHub repositories, open-source contributions, or community leadership roles - Genuine fluency in how Indian developer communities operate including the conference circuit, meetup culture, online communities, and the startup ecosystem - Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical systems clearly and credibly - Deep developer empathy and a consistent help-first mindset combined with curiosity and a willingness to experiment and iterate Why Join Us At UiPath you will be part of a fast-growing, purpose-driven company that believes automation has the power to fundamentally transform how the world works.
