Developer - Portworx

Role Overview Pure Storage is transforming the data storage industry and is looking for a talented Developer to join the Portworx team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will contribute to building a secure, consistent, and high-quality experience for customers using the Portworx suite of products. You will write clean, customer-focused code and take full ownership of design and development activities across the Portworx portfolio. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop microservices and integrate new features into Portworx products - Drive design, development, unit and functional testing, code reviews, documentation, and CI/CD practices - Collaborate with peers, product managers, and stakeholders to take solutions from concept to production - Take ownership of design and development by adapting to customer feedback and resolving issues found during testing and customer deployments - Experiment with emerging technologies to drive innovation and push the boundaries of current solutions - Lead the team technically on design quality, code efficiency, and functional correctness Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline - 4 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing product components using Python, Go, or similar languages - Strong understanding of microservices architecture and scalable distributed platform design - Proven experience building production-grade, testable, and maintainable microservices deployed on cloud infrastructure - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerised workloads - Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, open office environment Why Join Us Pure Storage has been recognised as one of Fortune's Best Workplaces in Technology and is certified as a Great Place to Work, offering a culture of innovation, growth, and inclusion. - Proficiency in Python and/or Go programming languages - Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems - Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration - Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines - Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design - Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders including product managers and beta customers - Familiarity with KubeVirt, OpenShift, or VMware APIs is a plus - Prior experience in Kubernetes control plane development is an advantage - Experience building telemetry and observability systems is a plus
