Role Overview Rakuten Symphony is looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our innovative team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will define and execute the AI/ML strategy, building high-performing models across classical machine learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI. You will help disrupt standard telecom infrastructure models by building intelligent, autonomous cloud-native platforms. Key Responsibilities - Define the AI/ML strategy and product roadmap in alignment with the overall vision. - Design, develop, and deploy classical machine learning models and Generative AI agents. - Build, mentor, and upskill team members on AI/ML, Generative AI, and ML Ops practices. - Leverage LLMs and multi-modal models to build autonomous agents capable of reasoning and planning. - Optimize models for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Required Qualifications - Minimum of four to eight years of professional experience in AI/ML development. - Strong programming skills in Python along with libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and Matplotlib. - Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or OpenAI APIs. - Experience with LangChain, Agentic AI frameworks, prompt engineering, and LLM fine-tuning.
