Data Science Analyst - Healthcare Analytics Manager

Role Overview Puresoftware Technology is hiring an experienced Healthcare Data Science and Analytics Manager to lead data-driven decision-making across clinical, financial, and operational healthcare functions. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned analyst who can translate complex healthcare datasets into meaningful insights and guide strategic initiatives for leadership teams. You will play a central role in shaping analytics frameworks, mentoring talent, and ensuring compliance with healthcare data regulations. Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end healthcare analytics initiatives spanning clinical outcomes, financial performance, and operational efficiency - Analyze large-scale healthcare datasets including claims data, EHR and EMR records, and patient information - Design and maintain interactive dashboards, performance reports, and KPI frameworks for senior stakeholders - Conduct patient journey analysis, cost and utilization studies, quality and outcomes measurement, and provider performance assessments - Collaborate with cross-functional teams across clinical, operations, and finance departments - Identify data trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities to enhance patient care and reduce operational costs - Ensure data quality, integrity, and full compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA - Present actionable recommendations and data insights to business leaders and stakeholders - Mentor and guide junior analysts, promoting best practices in data analytics Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline - 8 to 12 or more years of experience in data analytics with strong healthcare domain exposure - Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel for data querying and reporting - Hands-on experience with Python or R for analytical and statistical work - Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau for dashboard development - Deep understanding of healthcare data including claims, EHR and EMR systems - Familiarity with healthcare KPIs such as length of stay, readmission rates, and cost per patient - Knowledge of healthcare coding standards like ICD and CPT is preferred - Exposure to payer and provider analytics and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is an advantage Why Join Us Puresoftware Technology offers a collaborative and innovation-driven environment where your healthcare analytics expertise will directly influence patient outcomes and business performance at scale.
