Core Java Developer

Role Overview Akkodis is looking for a skilled Core Java Developer to join their team in Bengaluru and contribute to the development of cloud-based connected vehicle services. This is a full-time mid-senior level opportunity within the Automotive and Transportation domain, ideal for professionals with hands-on backend development experience. Candidates available for immediate to 30-day notice periods are preferred. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop cloud-based connected vehicle services and feature modules - Understand business requirements and independently code, test, and own cloud applications handling real-time event-driven and large-scale streaming data - Build RESTful APIs and microservices using serverless cloud technologies - Apply Agile methodologies and Test Driven Development practices to deliver robust technical solutions - Develop and maintain automation scripts, monitoring utilities, and debugging tools Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field - Minimum 3 years of professional programming experience - Proficiency in Core Java and Python for high-level backend development - Hands-on experience with AWS IoT, MQTT, AWS Lambda, and AWS Kinesis - Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines - Experience working with large-scale distributed systems - Strong problem-solving abilities, written communication, and organisational skills - Preferred: experience with MQTT, Google Protocol Buffers, DevOps tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Jira, as well as Docker and microservices architecture Why Join Us Akkodis offers a dynamic work environment where you can grow your expertise in cutting-edge connected vehicle technology and cloud-based solutions.
