Role Overview EY is seeking an analytical Consultant to join our Tax - GCR (Global Compliance and Reporting) team in New Delhi, focusing on the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. In this role, you will lead the preparation of corporate tax computations, conduct research on complex tax issues, and draft technical submissions. Key Responsibilities - Demonstrate technical knowledge of direct tax laws, Income-tax Act provisions, and judicial precedents. - Lead the preparation and review of corporate tax computations, returns, and compliance filings. - Conduct in-depth tax research and provide technically sound positions on complex tax issues. - Draft technical memos, opinions, and submissions for assessments and appeal engagements. - Interpret changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on client business transactions. - Collaborate across multiple client departments to deliver insightful tax advisory solutions. - Remain updated on regulatory developments in the corporate tax environment. Required Qualifications - Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. - Minimum of two years of professional experience in corporate taxation. - Practical approach to resolving complex tax issues and commercial requirements. - High agility, curiosity, and adaptability in a collaborative team environment.
