Commercial Finance Associate

Role Overview Philips is seeking a Commercial Finance Associate to join our credit and collections team in Gurugram. In this role, you will evaluate credit applications, manage customer portfolios, and support accounts receivable improvements to enhance data quality and risk mitigation. Key Responsibilities - Evaluate credit applications by analyzing financial information and providing risk recommendations - Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring high customer service levels and relationship management - Support accounts receivable process improvements and ensure master data quality is maintained - Assess customer creditworthiness using credit check systems and scorecards in line with policies - Prepare documentation for credit decisions including letters of credit, claims, and guarantees - Monitor delinquent account balances, perform cash application, and execute collection strategies Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Data Analysis - Minimum three years of experience in credit risk, accounts receivable, or collections - Strong financial analysis skills and understanding of credit risk management frameworks - Proficiency in using credit check software and advanced database tools - Ability to work in-person at our Gurugram office at least three days per week Why Join Us At Philips, you will do the work of your life to help improve the lives of others in a purpose-driven environment.
