Position Overview: We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Audit & Assurance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee multiple audit engagements mainly in the US region, manage client relationships, and lead a team of professionals. You will be responsible for ensuring that audits are executed effectively and efficiently, providing strategic insights to clients, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. As a key leader in the firm, you will have the opportunity to shape audit strategies, mentor junior staff, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of clients of variable sizes across different industries within the US region aligned with onshore team expectations including Employee Benefit Plans, Not for Profit Organizations, Government/Single Audits and Real Estate Audits. Proactively manage client expectations and be point-of-contact for clients and onshore team Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication Understand client expectations, timelines, and deliverables Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously and ensure adherence to SLAs. Complete assignments within agreed budgets and timescales and identify opportunities for additional billings Identify opportunities to expand scope and improve service delivery Lead teams on the planning, execution, and completion of audits Ensure deliverables meet US auditing standards and firm-specific

requirements

Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation Coordinate closely with onshore teams to ensure smooth engagement execution Conduct detailed reviews and provide structured, constructive feedback Ensure assignments are staffed with the appropriate mix of knowledge and

skills

required Provide technical auditing and accounting assistance to team members and clients. Participate in the coaching, mentoring and appraisal of staff Ensure audit engagements comply with firm-wide quality standards and regulatory expectations Foster a strong culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement Manage and coordinate the pitch/proposals for new work Work as part of the management team and participate in firm initiatives (Quality improvement, training, resource planning, etc.) Collaborate closely with onshore teams across time zones Drive standardization, documentation, and process efficiencies

Requirements

Qualifications:

Qualification – CA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent

Experience:

6-10 years of

experience

in audit and assurance services Prior

experience

working with US CPA firms or offshore audit support engagements strongly preferred

Experience

in Employee Benefit Plan Audits, Not for Profit Organisations, Government and Single Audits and Real Estate Audits preferred. Can demonstrate strong technical auditing and accounting skills, including knowledge of the ISAs and accounting standards IFRS and US GAAP

Experience

with audit tools (e.g., CaseWare, CCH, or similar) Proven management

skills

and behaviours Understands the operational aspects of managing an audit team and be accountable for results

Experience
