AR Specialist I

Role Overview WebPT is seeking an energetic, motivated AR Specialist I to join our Accounts Receivable team in Hyderabad. In this position, you will advocate for physical therapists and healthcare providers by ensuring they receive every dollar they earn. Help us empower rehab therapy professionals to achieve greatness in their practice. Key Responsibilities - Pursue full contractual reimbursement on behalf of our members - Obtain claim status via phone or internet portals - Resolve accounts quickly and accurately to obtain maximum reimbursement - Conduct research and contact patients, insurance carriers, and claim adjusters - Respond to insurance carrier correspondence, inquiries, and submit claim appeals - Timely and accurate follow-up on medical billing denials and appeals - Identify opportunities for member, system, and process improvements - Adhere strictly to all HIPAA guidelines and information security regulations Required Qualifications - At least 2 years of experience in full-cycle medical billing or related schooling - Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience in a healthcare environment - Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance, terminology, and billing codes - Deep understanding of insurance guidelines including Medicare and Medicaid - Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical thinking skills - Proficiency in Google Workspace tools and office software applications Why Join Us At WebPT, we value autonomy, trailblazing, and doing right by our members.
