Analyst II - Tech Delivery (AML Data Platform)

Role Overview Bank of America is hiring an experienced Business Analyst to join its Global Business Services team in Chennai, working on the AML Data Platform. This platform serves as a centralised repository for consumer, small business, and mortgage transaction data, enabling the bank to manage Anti-Money Laundering risk consistently across all business lines. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven professional with 7 to 10 years of experience who can independently lead complex projects while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across India and the US. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and deliver enhancements to AML applications using Teradata and Informatica - Actively participate in design and solution phases of projects, contributing technical insights from inception to delivery - Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into detailed technical specifications - Coordinate with product owners, upstream and downstream teams to ensure accurate and complete technical requirements - Work as an individual contributor on new initiatives, taking full accountability for project outcomes - Collaborate with business partners and senior associates to devise creative solutions to complex business problems Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Computer Science (B.E., B.Tech, M.E., M.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc, BCA, or MCA preferred) - 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in a technology delivery or business analysis role - Strong proficiency in RDBMS platforms such as Oracle and Teradata with hands-on SQL and PL/SQL development - Experience with shell scripting and Unix/Linux-based environments - Deep domain knowledge in AML, Payments, Trades, Securities, and transaction lifecycle management - Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts - Familiarity with Agile methodologies including SCRUM and SAFe - Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail Why Join Us Bank of America offers a truly inclusive and growth-oriented workplace where you can build a meaningful career with access to global projects, competitive benefits, and the opportunity to make a measurable impact.
