Analyst Business Systems Service Applications

Role Overview ICU Medical is looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join its Chennai team and support the implementation and enhancement of Oracle E-Business Suite service applications. This role acts as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that operational needs are translated into effective system solutions. You will collaborate across departments including Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Purchasing, Quality, and Customer Service to drive end-to-end project delivery. Key Responsibilities - Lead complete project lifecycles from requirement gathering and functional design documentation through to implementation, end-user training, and IT support handover - Work extensively across Oracle E-Business Suite modules with deep expertise in Depot Repair, Oracle Service, Field Service, Order Management, Shipping, Advanced Pricing, and Service Contracts - Manage and support key supply chain processes such as inventory replenishment, serial-level transactions, purchase order workflows, internal order processing, and inter-org shipments - Guide the technical team in developing customisations, reports, interfaces, and extensions for Oracle applications - Serve as the primary liaison between business users and technical team members to ensure clear communication and alignment - Identify opportunities for process improvement and work collaboratively with business partners to implement effective changes - Support and enhance Oracle application interfaces integrated with third-party and non-Oracle systems - Create detailed functional requirements and technical design documentation - Drive test planning, script writing, and test execution activities - Provide day-to-day application troubleshooting support to end users - Participate in the 24/7 on-call support programme as required Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT discipline from an accredited institution - Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst working with Oracle Service applications - Hands-on experience with Oracle R12 is mandatory - Strong knowledge of Depot Repair, Oracle Service, and Field Service operations - Experience with Oracle Application Tables, SQL, and PL/SQL is preferred - Familiarity with the AIM methodology and excellent documentation practices - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to engage confidently at all organisational levels - Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously under deadline pressure Why Join Us ICU Medical is a globally respected medical device company that fosters an inclusive and equal-opportunity work environment where your expertise in Oracle systems will have a direct impact on healthcare operations. - 7 or more years of experience with Oracle Service applications as a Business or Business Systems Analyst - Hands-on experience with Oracle R12 - Deep knowledge of Depot Repair, Oracle Service, and Field Service modules - Experience with Order Management, Shipping, Advanced Pricing, and Service Contracts - Working knowledge of Bills of Material, Work-in-Process, and Supply Chain modules - Familiarity with Oracle Application Tables, SQL, and PL/SQL - Experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite applications - Strong documentation skills with AIM methodology experience - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related IT field
