AI Engineer Remote

Role Overview Hire Feed is looking for a skilled AI Engineer to join our remote team and contribute to building cutting-edge production-grade LLM applications. You will be responsible for designing and shipping real AI-powered features used by actual end users, working across RAG pipelines, agent systems, and model evaluation frameworks. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop LLM-powered applications including RAG pipelines, agents, fine-tuning workflows, and evaluation systems - Optimise inference latency, throughput, and cost across both commercial and open-source models - Create effective prompts, evaluation frameworks, and feedback loops to ensure consistent model quality - Integrate and manage vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval systems for production use - Own the end-to-end quality of user-facing AI features from development through deployment - Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and research teams to deliver impactful AI solutions Required Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of software engineering experience with at least 1 year of hands-on LLM development - Strong proficiency in Python and working knowledge of AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, DSPy, or direct API integrations - Practical experience with vector databases including Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, or pgvector - Demonstrated ability in prompt engineering and evaluation design - Strong written communication skills and comfort navigating ambiguous problem spaces - Preferred experience in fine-tuning techniques such as LoRA or QLoRA, multimodal AI, or MLOps and production ML systems Why Join Us Hire Feed offers a fully remote and flexible work environment with competitive contract and full-time pay, along with a generous compute and tooling budget.
