AI Engineer

Role Overview OP is collaborating with a globally recognised leader in media, entertainment, and consumer experiences to bring on board a skilled AI Engineer. This is a full-time opportunity for a mid-senior professional with a solid foundation in Machine Learning Engineering and demonstrated experience building and deploying modern AI applications at scale. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Generative AI, Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems, and cloud-based AI deployment. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI-powered applications and services - Build, train, optimise, and maintain machine learning models for real-world production environments - Develop Generative AI applications using LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, or equivalent models - Architect and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems using embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search techniques - Build AI agents, intelligent copilots, and automation workflows for enterprise use cases - Fine-tune, evaluate, and continuously improve AI and ML models for performance, reliability, and business impact - Develop robust APIs and backend services that expose AI and ML capabilities to enterprise-grade applications - Deploy scalable AI and ML solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP - Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Platform teams to deliver end-to-end AI solutions - Implement best practices around model deployment, monitoring, evaluation, governance, and responsible AI usage - Stay updated with emerging trends, frameworks, and research in Machine Learning and Generative AI Required Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning Engineering or AI Engineering - At least 2 years of recent experience in Generative AI, LLM-based applications, RAG systems, AI agents, or copilot development - Strong expertise in ML model development, deployment, optimisation, and production systems - Proficiency in Python along with key AI and ML development frameworks - Hands-on experience with LLMs including OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, or similar - Practical experience with RAG architectures, embeddings, semantic search, and vector search - Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, Milvus, or FAISS - Experience building scalable APIs and backend services for AI and ML applications - Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills - Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP Why Join Us This role places you at the intersection of cutting-edge AI technology and globally iconic brands, where your work will directly power transformative digital experiences. - 5+ years in Machine Learning or AI Engineering - 2+ years of hands-on Generative AI and LLM development experience - Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks - Experience with RAG architectures and vector databases - Hands-on with LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama, or Mistral - Experience deploying ML models in production environments - Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP - Strong API and backend development skills for AI applications - Experience with model evaluation, prompt evaluation, and performance optimisation - Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or AutoGen is a plus - Knowledge of MLOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is preferred - Experience fine-tuning open-source models is an advantage
