Experience :
5 years Qualification : B. Tech/BE or M. Tech/ME (Electronics Preferred)
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage System requirements, models and documents including System Specifications, Product Breakdown Structure, Design Description Documents, interface specifications, verification test procedures, tests, etc. based on project requirements. Inspect electronic systems, instruments, and equipment to ensure that safety standards are met, as well as any other applicable regulations. Implement Electronic circuit design. Develop maintenance and procedures for testing the electronic equipment and components. Design electronic components, systems, products, or software for military applications. Work on production efforts with project managers to make certain that projects are completed on budget, on time, and to the right level of quality. Direct the manufacturing, installation, and testing of the electrical equipment to make sure that the product meets codes and specifications. Undertake System Engineering activities specifically:
requirements
management, functional analysis, system design, system analysis, integration, system tests, acceptance tests and certification. Use domain, discipline and Systems Engineering understanding to ensure enabling, supporting and delivering products robustly and demonstrably meet their
requirements
and are fit for purpose. Participate in ensuring that the design meets all statutory regulatory requirements. Develop and execute system tests during development and qualification phases to help ensure that the implemented designs conform to their specifications. Maintaining System Engineering related artefacts in accordance with the applicable configuration management, change management and traceability processes. Working within agreed project technical, cost and schedule constraints.
Requirements
At least 5 years
experience
in engineering and ideally a couple of years in system engineering with Verification and Validation exposure. Sound general background in Systems Engineering, with
experience
both in software and hardware development, preferably within the defence sector. Knowledge of appropriate engineering development methodologies and strategies. Strong organizational and communication
skills
due to a physically distributed team. Good contributor to a team-based working environment.
