Primary Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirements, application architecture, and existing systems to contribute to new and enhanced solutions
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Python and/or Java
- Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices
- Design and optimize complex SQL queries, database objects, and data access layers to support application needs
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and enterprise application services
- Work with cloud platforms, to deploy, monitor, and maintain applications
- Build, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar technologies
- Implement DevOps best practices including source control, automated testing, deployment automation, and release management
- Leverage AI/ML and Generative AI technologies to develop intelligent solutions and improve business processes
- Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders to integrate AI/ML capabilities into applications
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and architectural guidelines
- Monitor application health, troubleshoot production issues, and implement solutions for improved reliability and performance
- Demonstrate understanding of modern development methodologies and tools to develop, deploy, and maintain impactful business solutions
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Take ownership of deliverables and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering teams
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MCA, or equivalent
- 1+ years of software development experience
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
- Solid hands-on experience in Python and/or Java development
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices
- Experience working with cloud platforms
- Experience using Git and modern source control practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Solid understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, Generative AI, LLMs, intelligent automation, or AI-assisted development
- Solid proficiency in SQL, including query optimization, database design, and troubleshooting
- Demonstrated solid analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure, AI, Cloud, or DevOps certifications
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application development
- Experience building scalable cloud-native applications and microservices
- Healthcare domain experience
- Exposure to AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, LangChain, or Azure AI Studio
