Job Description
Design, develop, and implement data warehouse solutions using Snowflake Cloud Data Platform. Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand data
requirements
and translate them into scalable Snowflake models. Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple sources using tools like Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, or dbt. Implement data sharing, cloning, and time-travel features in Snowflake to meet business and compliance needs. Create and manage Snowflake schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures to support analytical workloads. Ensure data security, access control, and role-based permissions within the Snowflake environment. Monitor and optimize query performance, warehouse sizing, and resource utilization for cost-effective operations. Integrate Snowflake with other platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Power BI, and Tableau for reporting and analytics. Conduct data validation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design end-to-end data solutions that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. Maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, data flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures. Stay updated with Snowflake releases and new features, proactively suggesting improvements and best practices.
