Senior Visual Designer

Job Description

- Looking for SMART, SELF DRIVEN, CONFIDENT design comrades who have it in them to anchor large design engagements -

Ideal candidate get to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Applicants must have substantial experience informing designs through critical design thinking, rationalizing for B2B or B2C systems, websites, mobile devices, and handheld.

Willingness to travel and anchor client UX engagements for extensive duration (6 months to 1 yr +) is a must.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with the client (multiple stakeholders) and YUJ Designs- User Experience Strategist to diagnose business pain points and users- needs
• Innovate visual design strategies with changing market trends
• Have exceptional attention to details and user interactions - design a robust visual system that represents highest levels of quality (wow factor), efficiency, consistency, scalability (design that works across platforms) and innovation.
• Present design decisions to the stakeholders that are backed up by strong usability principles and rationale
• Create standards, style guides, specification documents to support visual design system that gets delivered to the customer.
• Project co-ordination, management with ability to effectively communicate at all levels

Job Requirements

• Candidates must be high-level thinkers that can dive deep into a specific design challenge and come up with alternative solutions that are not only usable but look - wow- .
• They must have experience working successfully within interdisciplinary project teams and collaborating with business units, product managers, interaction designers, user researchers, content managers and prototype engineers.
• They must prove mastery of visual design principles as they apply to the creation of large-scale web user interfaces, and practical knowledge of user centered design methodologies.
• Candidates must have working knowledge of information architecture, navigation models and interaction design principles.
• In this position you must be a clear and effective presenter in order to influence important design decisions and maintain credibility.
• Candidates need to be organized, have excellent time management skills and be highly detail oriented. They must be able to manage their own time in an efficient manner while receiving strategic and tactical direction from project stakeholders.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal communication, management, negotiation, presentation and client relations skills
• Minimum 5+ years of solid industry experience.

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Visual design
