About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with strong expertise in API and UI automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation framework development, API testing, and quality engineering practices while ensuring high-quality software delivery in Agile environments.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for API and UI testing.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Perform API automation testing using Rest Assured.
• Create and maintain BDD test scenarios using Cucumber.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Design reusable automation components and testing utilities.
• Participate in framework enhancements and automation best practices.
• Perform defect tracking, root cause analysis, and reporting.
• Support CI/CD-driven testing initiatives and continuous quality practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and testing processes.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 6 to 10 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Engineering.
• Strong conceptual understanding of Core Java.
• Hands-on experience in API Automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of Rest Assured and API validation techniques.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver automation.
• Hands-on experience with Cucumber and BDD frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience in both API and UI testing.
• Knowledge of test automation framework design and maintenance.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Playwright will be an added advantage.
• Experience with JMeter for performance testing will be good to have.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a team environment
