QA Engineer

CCTech is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior QA Engineer to support large-scale Digital Transformation Programs for leading Renewable Energy and Infrastructure clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating enterprise applications supporting Engineering, Procurement, Material Management, Inventory Management, Project Execution, Vendor Collaboration, and Workflow Automation processes. The role requires strong functional testing expertise, business process understanding, API testing capabilities, and exposure to automation and modern quality engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

Business Process Understanding & Validation Understand business processes related to Engineering, Procurement, Material Management, Inventory Management, Vendor Management, Project Execution, and Approval Workflows. Analyze business requirements, BRDs, SRS documents, user stories, and functional specifications. Design test scenarios that effectively validate end-to-end business workflows. Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and Client Stakeholders to ensure complete business coverage. Functional Testing Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios. Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, and User Acceptance Testing. Validate web, mobile, and tablet-based applications. Ensure complete traceability between

and test cases. Support release validation and production verification activities. API & Integration Testing Validate APIs using Postman or equivalent tools. Verify integration points between enterprise applications and third-party systems. Perform database validation using SQL queries. Validate data consistency, synchronization, and business rule compliance across systems. Defect Management Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar tools. Collaborate with development teams for issue resolution and retesting. Participate in defect triage discussions and root cause analysis. Ensure timely closure of defects and quality issues. Agile Delivery Support Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle. Support UAT activities and business sign-off processes. Automation & Continuous Quality Contribute to automation testing initiatives using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools. Support automated regression testing and continuous testing activities. Participate in CI/CD quality validation processes. Explore AI-assisted testing tools to improve test coverage and efficiency. Documentation & Reporting Maintain test plans, test cases, test execution reports, and defect reports. Prepare quality status reports and testing metrics. Ensure compliance with project quality standards and documentation requirements.

Requirements

Quality Assurance 2–5 years of

experience

in Software Testing and Quality Assurance. Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle. Hands-on

experience

in Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT Testing. Strong test case design, execution, and reporting skills.

Experience

working in Agile/Scrum environments. Business & Domain Understanding Ability to understand and validate complex business workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience

working on enterprise applications with multiple user roles and approval workflows. Technical

Experience

with defect tracking and project management tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA. Hands-on

experience

with API testing using Postman. Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for database validation. Understanding of system integrations and enterprise application architecture.
