Python Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with 3–5 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python application development, backend technologies, and API development, along with exposure to AI/ML concepts and modern Generative AI technologies.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications while contributing to the integration of AI-powered capabilities into our products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Python.
• Develop robust and efficient backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Integrate third-party APIs and AI/ML services into applications.
• Work with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI APIs to build intelligent application features.
• Develop AI-enabled functionalities such as chatbots, text processing, summarization, classification, recommendation, or intelligent automation.
• Work with frameworks/tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI application frameworks.
• Implement techniques such as prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) where applicable.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
• Stay updated with emerging AI, Generative AI, and Python ecosystem technologies.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming and object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and backend development.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Git/version control systems.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and coding best practices.
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts and Generative AI.
• Familiarity with LLMs, AI APIs, prompt engineering, embeddings, or RAG is an advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Good to Have

• Experience working with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, or similar LLM APIs.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, or Chroma.
• Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of AI application development and responsible AI practices.

Someone who is a strong Python developer first, with hands-on interest or experience in AI technologies. You should be comfortable learning and experimenting with emerging AI tools and applying them to real-world business problems.
