Job Description

– PRT ICT Teacher The Primary ICT Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing age-appropriate ICT instruction in alignment with the CBSE curriculum and NEP 2020 guidelines. The role includes introducing foundational coding concepts, Scratch programming, basic Artificial Intelligence (AI) awareness, and age-appropriate modern AI tools to develop students’ computational thinking, creativity, problem-solving skills, and responsible digital citizenship. The teacher will integrate technology across subjects, manage the ICT lab effectively, and support the school’s digital learning initiatives while ensuring a safe, ethical, and engaging technology-enabled learning environment for primary learners.

Key Responsibilities

– PRT ICT Teacher Plan, prepare, and deliver ICT, coding, and AI-awareness lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum and NEP 2020 Introduce foundational programming concepts using Scratch and other block-based coding platforms Create awareness of basic AI concepts and age-appropriate AI tools, promoting ethical and responsible technology use Design and implement hands-on, project-based, and experiential learning activities to develop digital literacy and problem-solving
