We are looking for a Military Operations Research Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in optimizing our defense solutions through advanced analytics, modeling, and coding of military algorithms. Job Summary As a Military Operations Research Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and coding mathematical models, algorithms, and simulations that optimize military operations. You will also develop user-friendly presentation layers for delivering insights to defense clients and stakeholders. Your work will drive the efficiency and effectiveness of Nitro Dynamics' defense technologies, ensuring optimal resource allocation, mission success, and decision support in military operations.
Key Responsibilities
Modeling and Algorithm Development: Design and code mathematical models and algorithms that optimize military operations, such as resource allocation, mission planning, and logistics optimization. Coding and Implementation: Implement mathematical formulas, optimization models, and simulations in programming languages like Python, MATLAB, R, or C++. Presentation Layer Development: Create intuitive and visually appealing presentation layers for communicating model results and insights to military stakeholders and decision-makers. Simulation and Optimization: Build simulation environments to evaluate and predict the outcomes of different military strategies and operational scenarios. Data Integration and Analysis: Analyze large datasets from sensors (ELINT, COMINT, radar, sonar) and navigation systems, integrating them into your models for real-time decision-making and optimization. Collaborative Innovation: Work with engineers, data scientists, and defense personnel to push the boundaries of military technology and deliver impactful solutions. Risk and Threat Analysis: Conduct risk assessments and develop algorithms to mitigate potential vulnerabilities in defense operations.

Experience:
3-5 years of
experience
in operations research or military analysis, particularly in a defense or government context. Technical Proficiency:

coding mathematical models, algorithms, and simulations in Python, MATLAB, R, or C++. Proficiency in creating user-friendly and interactive presentation layers (e.g., dashboards, visualizations) using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or custom-built interfaces. Strong understanding of operations research techniques such as optimization, stochastic modeling, and simulation. Expertise with optimization tools like Gurobi, CPLEX, and simulation software like Arena or AnyLogic. Defense related Knowledge: Familiarity with defense technologies such as drones, AI-command systems, and autonomous vehicles.
Experience
with military operations, logistics, and supply chain management. Problem-Solving
