Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manual Test Engineer / QA Lead. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in test planning, execution, defect management, and quality assurance across complex engineering applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, End-to-End, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Validate software applications used in semiconductor engineering environments.
• Identify, track, and manage defects through closure using defect management tools.
• Collaborate closely with development, product management, and cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
• Prepare test reports, status updates, and quality metrics for stakeholders.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and drive testing best practices.
• Support release validation and production readiness activities.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of experience in Manual Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
• Experience in Functional, System, Integration, Regression, and UAT testing.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or similar test management/defect tracking tools.
• Strong experience in test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and requirement traceability.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using AI-powered productivity and engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools to improve test design, documentation, analysis, and productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Semiconductor domain.
• Exposure to validation of engineering applications and enterprise software systems.
• Understanding of hardware-software interaction and system-level testing.
• Experience leading QA activities, coordinating with stakeholders, and mentoring test teams.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
