System Administrator Level 2/3
A highly skilled Level 2/3 System Administrator capable of managing and supporting a large, complex, and heterogeneous IT infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, advanced troubleshooting capabilities, and an analytical mindset that enables rapid identification and resolution of issues across multiple technologies and systems.
Core Technical Skills
1. PowerShell (Advanced)
. Ability to write, analyze, and optimize advanced PowerShell scripts.
. Experience automating administrative tasks for Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365.
. Familiarity with modules for: Active Directory, Exchange, Exchange Online, Azure AD, Microsoft Graph.
2. Active Directory & Identity Management
. Deep understanding of AD structure, GPOs, OUs, permissions inheritance, delegation, and domain trust relationships.
. Solid knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.
3. Microsoft 365 / Office 365
. Knowledge of administration of Microsoft 365 tenant environments.
. Strong experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
. Ability to troubleshoot hybrid identity scenarios (AAD Connect, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access).
. Understanding of licensing models and security/compliance configurations.
4. Exchange (On Prem & Hybrid)
. Administration and troubleshooting of Exchange Server environments.
. Hybrid configuration experience.
. Mail flow diagnostics, connector troubleshooting, certificate management.
. Good knowledge of Windows server administration
. Good knowledge of vulnerability and patch management process and tools
. Familiarity with VPN technologies and site to site connections.
. Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and firewall rules.
. Ability to analyze network related issues impacting authentication, mail flow, connectivity, or cloud services.
. Familiarity with VPN technologies and site to site connections.
Complementary Skills (Highly Desired)
. Knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper V).
. Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, GPO based automation).
. Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
. Knowledge of Software deployment tools
. Ability to read and interpret logs across different systems and services.
ITIL & ServiceDesk Experience
. Familiarity with ITIL framework, especially Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
. Experience working with ServiceDesk systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, ManageEngine, or equivalent).
. Ability to document incidents thoroughly, follow escalation paths, and comply with SLAs.
. Skilled in prioritizing and categorizing tickets according to business impact and urgency.
. Capable of contributing to root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive actions.
Analytical & Problem Solving Skills
. Strong ability to quickly diagnose complex infrastructure issues.
. Capacity to correlate symptoms from multiple systems (network + AD + M365 + endpoints).
. Logical, structured approach to troubleshooting.
. Ability to work under pressure, with minimal supervision, in dynamic environments.
Soft Skills & Work Style
. Strong English communication abilities are mandatory, both written and verbal.
. Team player with a proactive approach to identifying and preventing issues.
. Ability to document systems, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Experience Requirements
. 3–7 years of experience in a similar role (L2/L3 System Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, etc.).
. Hands on experience managing medium to large scale infrastructures.
. Proven track record of handling complex incidents end to end.
