Job Description
About the Role:
The PPC Lead will be responsible for driving production planning, scheduling and execution control to ensure on-time delivery, optimal resource utilization and smooth manufacturing operations. This role is critical in building Axirium’s production planning systems and scaling manufacturing operations in a high-growth aerospace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage master production schedules based on customer demand, capacity and material availability. Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to schedules, quality
requirements
and delivery commitments. Coordinate closely with procurement, quality, engineering and shop-floor teams to resolve production bottlenecks. Plan machine loading, manpower utilization and capacity optimisation. Track WIP, inventory levels and production lead times to improve throughput and reduce cycle time. Analyse production data, prepare MIS reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Support new product introduction (NPI) planning and ramp-up activities. Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and internal process controls. Location: Hyderabad, India (On-site).
Requirements
Qualifications:
Required: 3–7 years of
experience
in PPC / Production Planning / Manufacturing Operations (preferably aerospace, automotive, defence or precision manufacturing). Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, scheduling and shop-floor control. Good understanding of machining, fabrication and assembly processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems. Preferred: Exposure to AS9100 / ISO standards and the aerospace manufacturing environment.
Experience
working in a startup or fast-growing manufacturing setup.
