We are looking for a
Java Backend Developer
to design, develop, and support high-performance backend services
Required Skills-
- Core and Advanced Java, including Java 8-17 features.
- Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, Spring JDBC, and Spring AOP.
- CompletableFuture, asynchronous programming, reactive programming, and microservices.
- REST API design, error handling, validation, security, and service integration.
- JUnit, Mockito, GitHub branching, pull requests, and CI/CD.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, Linux/Unix, and Apache Tomcat knowledge.
Preferred Skills-
- Experience in financial services, investment operations, accounting, reconciliation, or asset servicing.
- Experience modernizing legacy or mission-critical enterprise applications.
- Exposure to AS400/IBM i and DB2.
- Azure or AWS experience; Docker and Kubernetes exposure.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Java applications, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Build reactive or asynchronous services with Spring WebFlux and CompletableFuture where appropriate.
- Translate functional requirements and legacy behavior into maintainable Java components.
- Develop database-access layers and optimize application-to-database interactions.
- Create comprehensive unit, integration, and component tests.
- Review code and promote secure coding and engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot application and production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve performance and stability.
- Contribute to CI/CD automation, deployments, monitoring, releases, and operational documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, QA, operations, support, and business stakeholders; mentor junior developers.
