Job Title : Executive Electrical Instrumentation Main Purpose of Job (Why job exists/what it must achieve) Level: E2/E3 Responsible for maintenance, improvement and Project related jobs in Plant and Plant Premises
- Reports to: Div Head Engineering Organization Unit / Location Apollo Tyres, Limda Main Responsibilities / Job Summary (Primary deliverables of role and its scope) KPIs (Measurable parameters of the role) Dimensions (What is the span of the role) Analyse breakdown, PM adherence, Store consumption, on a day to day basis, identify reasons for shortfall if any discuss with superiors / subordinates for corrective preventive action. Analyse daily generation of defects and scrap to meet the process efficiencies. Ensuring optimum utilisation of available resources like manpower, machines, energy. Effective control of existing management systems with respect to quality, environment, health and safety. Control includes conformance to norms and authority to stop production as part of adherence to all IMS requirement Work closely with research and development, quality assurance and maintenance personnel to prevent problems with products and tooling/fixtures. Ensure all manufacturing safety regulatory policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all times. Determine and eliminate root causes and diminish occurrences in the manufacturing process. Able to assist in reducing cost through re-engineering product/material. Assist in the assessment of vendor/subcontractor evaluation for consideration. Reduce MTTR and enhance MTBF to ensure machine availability. Ensure proper availability of Spares and reduce spares cost consumption. Co-ordinate with Contractors for the efficient implementation of projects and maintenance Ensure proper documentation drawings of equipment. Timely completion of new, improvement , modification projects. To keep all equipment healthy condition by continues monitoring. Ensure Data entry in Maintwiz and SAP systems. Update ATQM IATF documents. Review daily plan vs actual for Breakdown and find out root cause Ensuring calibration schedule adherence and trend monitoring on quarterly basis. Ensure PM activities in plant and make entries in Maintwiz for closure of PM jobs. Arrange programming correction incase of abnormalities in Auto sequence machines. Maintain SCADA system Maintain backup of equipment PLC HMI programs . Assist TMs in trouble shooting of Auto sequence machines with help of outside vendors by taking machines. Maintain all electrical power system panels equipment in 2W plant. Electrical delays in Plant Utilities. Specific Power consumption of Plant Utilities Maintenance cost of Plant Utilities Skills Knowledge Requirements (Abilities / Knowledge Expertise in field) Knowledge (Technical / Functional) Knowledge of Production processes Knowledge about tyre manufacturing Knowledge about QMS and QC Tools Knowledge about Engineering Exposure to ERP enabled environment Knowledge about HR Finance Skills Problem Solving/Analysis. Qualifications Electrical Engineering Graduation Experience 3-5 years Authorities:- * Control stores and spares consumption and repair and maintenance cost. * Initiate review of performance of subordinates and co-ordinate their development activities by arranging right training at the right time. * Authority to stop equipment to ensure equipment and men safety. * Maintaining and updating of calibration schedule * Authority to generate purchase requisition. * Evaluation of calibration process.
