Number of Direct Reports (Solid Line) : NA Number of Direct Reports (Dotted Line) : NA Number of Outsourced Reports : NA Purpose of the Job : To define the organization chart and the job responsibility of Tech, personnel. This covers all personnel in Tech department of Bias/OTR plant

• Major Responsibilities : Development, issue and revision of compound, Fabric Cement Specifications Development, issue and revision of Process Specification in areas of Mixing, Calendaring, Dipping, Cement House. Development, issue and revision of Sectional Procedures and Work Instructions. Plant Technology activities related to development of new product/process including development of Compound Standards, Process machinery specifications, process proving of new compound, Initiate mixing process studies for improvement in Dispersion and other desired compound properties. Initiating work requisition memo to R D for New compound development and Plant trial raw material etc. Technology activities related to manufacturing like specification implementation, control of non-conforming product/process, disposition of non-conforming product/process, corrective and preventive actions, scrap and waste reduction, efficiency improvement, process modification, etc. Co-ordination of compounding, Calendaring, Dipping shifts activities. Co-ordinate production of test/experimental tyres and Compilation of test tyre data and reports. Attend process trouble shooting and Initiate corrective actions on process problems. Training and development of personnel in the department. Liaison with interface departments for compounds mixing for outside mixing requirements, plant experiments, test tyres requirements and trials pertaining to productivity improvement and cost saving. IMS activities. Any other technical work directly or indirectly related to the area of function/other areas as directed by Divisional Head –Bias Technology
• Skills : SAP Minitab MS-office AODMS Relevant Experience : 8-10 yrs Education Qualification(s) : Btech/BE
