Chief of Staff

As Chief of Staff to the Founder & CEO, you will be a critical thought partner and execution leader, helping drive Biome’s next phase of growth. This is a highly entrepreneurial role spanning strategy, operations, special projects, fundraising support, and cross-functional execution. You'll work directly with the founding team and play a pivotal role in shaping Biome’s future. What You’ll Do Strategic Initiatives: Own and execute critical projects across business development, fundraising, go-to-market, partnerships, and operations. Operational Excellence: Help design and run internal processes like OKRs, dashboards, meeting cadences, and team rituals that keep Biome aligned and moving fast. Fundraising & Investor Relations: Assist with fundraising materials, investor updates, data rooms, and due diligence processes. Research & Insights: Deep dive into new markets, technologies, policies (e.g., government schemes for agri-waste or green materials), and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions. Internal Communication: Act as a bridge between the Founder/CEO and different teams to ensure clarity, momentum, and alignment. Founder’s Leverage: Increase the Founder’s productivity by preparing briefs, managing key priorities, and ensuring follow-through on critical decisions.

Requirements

Who You Are

5-10 years of

experience

in fast-paced environments like startups, consulting, VC, or operating roles. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing complex projects across multiple stakeholders. Analytical and resourceful — you find solutions even when the path is not obvious. Strong written and verbal communicator. Deeply mission-aligned with sustainability, climate action, and innovation. Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by building from scratch. (Bonus)

Experience

in climate-tech, materials innovation, construction/real estate, or policy landscapes.
