AI Front End Architect

Job Description

Job purpose

We are looking for a 12+ experienced Frontend AI Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, intelligent, and user-friendly enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern frontend technologies, AI-powered user experiences, and workflow orchestration using Camunda or similar process engines.

Key responsibilities

Define and own the frontend architecture for enterprise AI products and platforms. • Design scalable, secure, responsive, and high-performance web applications.

• Build intuitive user experiences for AI assistants, copilots, chatbots, and agentic workflows.

• Lead frontend development using React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Integrate frontend applications with LLM APIs, AI/ML services, backend platforms, and real-time data streams.

• Design interfaces for prompt input, streaming responses, citations, feedback, and human-in-the-loop processes.

• Design and implement workflow-driven applications using Camunda or similar BPM/process engines.

• Build user interfaces for approval, human tasks, process tracking, exception management, and SLA monitoring.

• Collaborate with business and engineering teams to implement BPMN and DMN-based workflows.

• Establish standards for reusable UI components, state management, API integration, authentication, and error handling.

• Ensure accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, observability, performance, and application security.

• Conduct architecture and code reviews and mentor frontend engineers.

• Collaborate with Product, UX, AI/ML, Backend, Data, Security, and DevOps teams.

• Own technical delivery from architecture and prototyping through production deployment and optimization.

Key competencies

• Design, build, and deploy full-stack applications using React (frontend) and Python/Node.js (backend)

• Build and integrate GenAI-powered features (e.g., chat copilots, summarization, extraction, search, automation) into real customer workflows

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with strong expertise in front-end architecture.

• Advanced experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience building enterprise-grade AI or GenAI applications. • Strong knowledge of LLM integration, conversational interfaces, streaming responses, and agentic workflows.

• Hands-on experience with Camunda 7 or Camunda 8 or something similar • Strong understanding of BPMN 2.0, DMN, workflow orchestration, process engines, and human-task management. • Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and microservices.

• Knowledge of state-management frameworks, design systems, automated testing, and front-end performance optimization

• Understanding cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, security, and observability.

• Strong technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
