Job Purpose

While serving as the single point of contact for workshops, the Sales Representative is offering the whole Bosch Mobility Aftermarket (MA) Product Portfolio. The representative is responsible for increasing workshop loyalty, driving parts pull, promoting diagnostic equipment and services, and implementing workshop concepts and training programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct consistent in-person field visits with independent repair shops and targeted accounts to build relationships, identify needs, and support Bosch Mobility Aftermarket growth.
  • Represent Bosch as the local field contact for workshops, reinforcing brand value, program benefits, and available parts, tools, equipment, diagnostics, and service solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, and new Workshop Partner prospects while increasing participation in the eXtra and Workshop Partner loyalty programs through clear benefit communication and account support.
  • Drive parts pull by educating workshops on Bosch product coverage, quality, availability, and distributor purchasing pathways.
  • Support execution of field campaigns, sales blitzes, distributor events, training opportunities, product demonstrations, and other market-development initiatives.
  • Capture accurate shop visit details, contact information, opportunities, feedback, and follow-up actions in required Bosch systems and reporting tools.
  • Provide market intelligence from the field, including competitive activity, customer objections, product opportunities, and distributor or workshop feedback.
  • Partner closely with internal Bosch teams, distributors, agencies, and sales leadership to coordinate follow-up, resolve issues, and support territory objectives.
  • Maintain a disciplined territory routine, including route planning, visit prioritization, timely reporting, and completion of assigned follow-up tasks.

Core Competencies

  • Strong field sales and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage shop owners, service managers, technicians, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information, listen effectively, and tailor messaging to workshops, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate Bosch value clearly and confidently across parts, diagnostics, tools and equipment, training, programs, and service solutions.
  • Comfortable working independently in the field, managing a territory, prioritizing visits, and maintaining a consistent cadence of shop engagement.
  • Strong consultative approach with the ability to identify workshop needs, ask effective questions, and connect customers to the right Bosch solutions or next steps.
  • Proficiency with digital tools, CRM/reporting systems, mobile applications, and data-entry processes used to document visits, opportunities, and follow-up activity.
  • High attention to detail and accountability for timely, accurate reporting, clean customer data, and completion of required follow-up actions.
  • Ability to support product demonstrations, program explanations, training awareness, and distributor or workshop events in a professional and customer-focused manner.
  • Adaptability, professionalism, and resilience when working in a fast-paced field environment with varied customer needs and market conditions.

Required

  • 3-5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive aftermarket.
  • Technical understanding of diagnostic and workshop equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license required; must be able to travel extensively within the assigned territory, with additional travel across the U.S. and/or Canada as needed for training, product blitzes, team support, and other North American events.

Preferred

  • Experience with workshop business models.
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or demonstrated knowledge of hands-on, job-related automotive service skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
