Requirements
- Planning, scripting, shooting, and editing engaging short-form video content inspired by current trends, formats, and audience behavior.
- Exploring a versatile range of content themes and visual styles to create templates suited to different industries, themes and audiences.
- Crafting compelling narratives through pacing, timing, motion and sound transitions, and visual storytelling.
- Collaborating with team leads and co-creators to develop concepts, exchange creative inputs, and bring unique video ideas to life.
- Organizing project files, footage, assets, and edit workflows to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
- Taking initiative to experiment with creative formats, visual hooks, transitions, editing techniques, and storytelling approaches/ techniques that make people want to click and keep watching.
- Keeping up with emerging video trends, editing styles, creator formats, music-led content, and platform behaviours to continually bring fresh ideas into the work.
- What you need to bring to the table:
- Students, creators, filmmakers, video editors, content creators, and freshers with a strong interest in short-form video and digital content can apply.
- A portfolio, showreel, social media page, personal projects, freelance work, or any body of work that demonstrates your ability to conceptualise and create engaging video content. Academic qualifications are secondary. We evaluate applications primarily on the quality of your work and creative potential.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and a good understanding of editing fundamentals such as pacing, cuts, transitions, sound, typography, and visual rhythm.
- Comfort with shooting content independently using a phone or camera, including a basic understanding of framing, lighting, composition, and shot planning.
- A strong awareness of reels, short-form video trends, creator culture, internet formats, and what currently captures attention.
- The ability to work across different visual styles and content themes rather than being restricted to particular aesthetic or genre.
- Curiosity and an experimental mindset. You should enjoy trying new formats, testing ideas, and finding interesting ways to turn simple footage into engaging content.
- Basic knowledge of After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or other motion and editing tools is a plus.
