As a Senior Manager in Tax Services, you will focus on providing strategic advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. You will help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your skills and professional network to deliver quality results. You will motivate and coach teams to solve complex problems, applying sound judgment to recognize when to take action and when to escalate. Your ability to develop and sustain high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams contributes to the success of our firm.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will validate clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations, review and analyze financial data, and prepare and file tax returns. Within our Tax practice, you will assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance. You will craft and convey clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story, apply systems thinking to identify underlying problems, and direct teams through complexity. Responsibilities

- Leading tax compliance projects and guiding teams in strategic planning and execution
- Reviewing and analyzing financial data to prepare and file accurate tax returns
- Validating clients' adherence to tax laws and regulations to minimize risks of non-compliance
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to provide strategic tax planning and advice
- Utilizing skills in tax accounting and auditing to enhance compliance processes
- Crafting and conveying clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story
- Applying systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunities in tax compliance
- Directing teams through complex situations, demonstrating composure and sound judgment
- Initiating open and honest coaching conversations to develop high-performing teams
- Modeling and reinforcing professional and technical standards in line with firm guidelines

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Master's in Commerce
- At least 6 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- In Tax, Manager, Senior Manager, and Director roles prefer candidates who hold an active primary credential, such as of the following: (1) US CPA or foreign equivalent (2) US Enrolled Agent in good standing with an appropriate regulatory body (3) a firm-approved secondary credential
