Technical Program Manager

Job description

Technical Program Manager position is a role reserved for the few outstanding technical Engineers with exceptional accomplishments in program management. If you feel excited by the challenge of setting the course for large company-wide initiatives, launching customer facing products and being involved in the delivery of these initiatives, then TPM would be the program for you.

• Required skillset: - Working in a tech role for a few years

• Strong project management experience managing cross function/ big scale projects in agile environment for a few years

Responsibilities:-

• Partner with BU owners in identifying long-term capabilities / initiatives that needs to be managed in-line with the Organizational strategic choices.

• Hands-on in driving the delivery of critical business initiatives, managing all aspects of the project such as project planning, requirements definition, risk management, communication, and implementation planning.

• Technical problem solver on the team, identifying innovative solutions to project deadlocks and resolving issues and constraints through consensus and sound judgment.

• Work closely with the development teams and play a leadership role in product architecture and design.

• Set up a monitoring protocol. Monitor KPIs and success metrics. Identify issues, modify the plan and processes related to it which may lead to a better outcome

• Identify resources to work with. Ensure the training of personnel involved and identify specific/periodic training programs, if required. Solve queries raised by the team. If similar queries are raised frequently incorporate in the implementation guidelines and train the team
