Technical Lead

Role Summary

As a Technical Lead, you will drive design and delivery of critical modules in CAMP's SaaS ecosystem, ensuring scalability and release readiness. You'll guide architecture decisions across .NET, React, Knockout, Oracle, messaging systems, and Elasticsearch, while advancing our migration to AWS cloud. You'll also play a role in shaping how CAMP applies Generative AI—improving search relevance, extracting knowledge, and supporting new workflows built on unstructured aviation data. This role connects technical excellence with the unique requirements of the Business Aviation ecosystem, where software reliability directly enables safe, efficient aircraft operations.

 

What You Will Do

·        Define module interfaces and component boundaries.

·        Design resilient services in .NET, React, Knockout, NServiceBus, Kafka, and Oracle.

·        Establish Elasticsearch patterns for indexing and querying that can be reused.

·        Design and evolve Oracle schemas, constraints, and indexes; validate query plans and performance.

·        Champion AI-assisted development practices (Cursor with human-in-the-loop).

·        Own CI/CD pipelines; standardize Octopus lifecycles; enforce Git and Jira conventions; publish reusable Confluence templates.

·        Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end value delivery.

·        Incubate Generative AI and Agent-based AI features: retrieval grounding, tool calling, evaluation frameworks.

Requirements

Technical Skills

 

Must Have

·        Deep expertise in .NET, React, Knockout, messaging systems, and relational data design.

·        Experience designing and tuning Elasticsearch queries and patterns.

·        Proficiency in schema design and performance tuning for Oracle.

·        Experience with AWS services for infrastructure and observability (ECS, EKS, CloudWatch).

 

Good to Have

·        Experience leading migrations from on-premises to AWS.

·        Exposure to AWS architectural frameworks and cost optimization.

·        Experience with Generative AI or agent orchestration in production.

 

Qualifications

·        Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

·        7–10 years of professional software engineering experience.

·        Track record of leading teams or modules with predictable release readiness.

·        Strong communication and leadership skills.
